I watched Never Again is Now last night. I honestly wasn’t aware of the extent of the antisemitic hatred in Europe and in Islamism. My opinions on the Israeli government have never made me harbour hatred for Jewish people, and they never will. I didn’t need to be reminded about the Holocaust, it’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Jewish people (Anne Frank and Nazi Germany were part of my History curriculum at secondary school), but to hear all the stories of the openly racist abuse they have to face and the deaths it has caused is shocking, the stories about the elderly couple who were beaten and the elderly women who were both Holocaust survivors who were burned to death and thrown off a balcony are particularly disturbing. We’ve gotta get to the root causes of these issues if we’re gonna move past them. Here’s the documentary, found via chosenbychoice.substack.com:
